Registration is NOT by political party Only in the Primary Elections must you declare your party at the polls. In the November General Election you may vote for any candidate on the ballot - you can either vote a straight party ticket or a split ticket You must register to vote and make name or address changes in writing 10 days before an election When you move from another county or state, you must reregister You must vote at the polling place in the precinct where you reside All polling places in Madison County are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Where do you vote ?
